Dr. Karen Chen Broussard joined Franklin Dermatology Group in 2015. She is originally from Cedarburg, Wisconsin. As an undergraduate at Yale University, Dr. Broussard was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Broussard then attended medical school at Vanderbilt University where she conducted clinical research in numerous fields of study, including dermatology. Dr. Broussard completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Emory University prior to her residency training in Dermatology at Vanderbilt University where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Broussard is passionate about the field of dermatology and values establishing a close doctor-patient relationship in order to provide the highest quality care for her patients. She practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Broussard is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She is also a member of the Nashville Dermatology Society, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Broussard resides in Franklin with her husband and their two children. She enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
