Taylor Proctor joined Franklin Dermatology Group in June 2018. She first joined the practice as a registered nurse, where she learned and worked closely with the providers. Her love for dermatology inspired her to further her education to become a nurse practitioner.
Taylor, a Middle Tennessee native, attended Cumberland University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. She gained experience working on a medical-surgical unit at Williamson Medical Center before transitioning to dermatology. From there, Taylor attended Tennessee State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Master of Science in Nursing program. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Taylor is passionate about helping patients of all ages feel their absolute best about their skin.
Taylor resides in Chapel Hill with her husband, son, and their two Australian Shepherds. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the UT Vols, reading, traveling, and spending time on her family’s farm.
