What to Expect

Two weeks prior to treatment, you will need to have minimal sun exposure. During a BBL HEROic treatment, a clear gel is applied over the treatment areas to help your skin absorb light energy. Treatment is usually 30-60 minutes depending on areas being treated with minimal to no discomfort. After the treatment, you may notice mild redness or a warm sensation in the treated area, similar to a mild sunburn and typically will resolve within a few hours. We will provide you with specific after-care instructions including avoiding direct sun exposure to protect your skin. Skin care products and make-up can be resumed 1-2 days post treatment with daily sunscreen protection for 2 weeks after treatment. You may notice visible improvements in your skin within a few days, with enhanced results developing over the following weeks. Depending on your goals, series of 3 treatments spaced a few weeks apart may be recommended to achieve optimal results.
