Ellen is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined Franklin Dermatology Group in 2024. She assists with surgical closures in the Mohs Surgical Center and works closely with Dr. Stebbins to provide attentive, high-quality care. Ellen is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for while achieving excellent outcomes following skin cancer removal.
Before joining Franklin Dermatology, Ellen practiced in an OBGYN clinic in Smyrna, Tennessee. Earlier in her career, she worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery and previously in the trauma intensive care unit, where she developed strong clinical skills and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
Ellen earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwifery program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University and her Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling. She also participates in medical mission trips, where she is able to use her skills to care for underserved communities.
